There is a story behind everything: A song, a building, an object, a person. From a lone tree in a field or a denim jacket found in a church basement, to the old dilapidated building on the corner of a city street. With an open eye and an imagination, you can dig hard enough and find little remnants of the story within our surroundings.
I have an endless fascination for myth and antiquities, which has propelled me down many rabbit holes. Following one obscure source to another – the research is addictive. I never tire of recreating a scene or environment while honouring its story, whether it is a truth masquerading as fiction or fiction as truth.
In 2010, Christina obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from Concordia University with a specialization in Theatre Design. She has held various positions within the art department for films, music videos & commercials.
She is a member of the Directors Guild of Canada, AQTIS 514 IATSE and has sister status with IATSE LOCAL 856 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. she currently resides and works in Montreal, Quebec.
